Drug Calculations – Avoiding Errors

Research by the NPSA (National Patient Safety Agency) shows that almost one in ten patients in UK hospitals experience harm or even death as a consequence of drug errors.

Drug errors occur for a number of reasons and these courses will focus primarily on the avoidance of drug errors that occur through incorrect drug calculations. These courses are suitable for any healthcare practitioner who is involved in the administration of medicines.
