This Moving and Positioning course will provide you with an introduction to best practice procedures when you’re moving and handling an individual.
It will also provide you with an understanding of how to perform risk assessments, use equipment safely, learn the important laws and your responsibilities and how to treat the comfort and safety of individuals and yourself as a priority.
If you work in health and social care, you probably spend a lot of time moving and handling individuals. It doesn’t matter if you’re using specialist equipment like hoists, or if you’re helping someone to stand, it’s really important that you know how to safely and correctly move and handle an individual.
